Matt Duran, born Matthew Duran of Cuba NM. A little town known for its beautiful wilderness. Matt was born and raised there in Cuba by his grandparents Marcellino & Estella Crespin. He was heavily influenced musically by his father Lonnie Duran, Uncle Celso Montoya and Grandfather frank Duran. Matt got started at the age of 7 playing guitar then at the age of 9 he started playing drums. At the age of 13 matt started playing rhythm guitar in his dad's band ''mistaken identity''. His father soon left the band and matt had to step it up and learn to play lead guitar. From then on through out high school matt play almost every weekend at bars weddings etc. Matt graduated in 1999 and moved to Albuquerque. He joined a band by the name of excellente, soon after he got a call from Gonzalo to play guitar. Matt left to play bass with Jerry Dean where he played for three years. Jerry saw that matt had the talent to become his own artist and signed him to a recorded label. Since, matt has gone on to play with Al and Al Hurricain Jr, Gonzalo, little Joe, Ram Herrera, Rubin Ramos, Sunny Ozuna, Rene Rene, Rick Trevino, Miguel Antonio and is known currently playing for the king of NM music Tobias Rene. Matt loves to interact with fans and most of all make music that people can relate to.
Jerry Dean … A Music Tradition Continues… Jerry Dean is no new comer to the music industry. Jerry Dean has been surrounded by music all his life. Influenced by his father, Al Hurricane, and family, Al Hurricane, Jr., Tiny Morrie, Lorenzo Antonio, SPARX and Baby Gaby, Jerry Dean was bound to a path of distinctive, dynamic and creative music. Jerry Dean started playing trumpet and guitar in his father's band at the age of 13. He traveled extensively with his renown family throughout the United States and Mexico. Jerry Dean had the great opportunity to perform and sing with his family in front of crowds ranging from 5,000 to 20,000 people over the past 25 years. Playing and performing music is not the only talent Jerry Dean possesses. Jerry Dean is one of the newest and finest music producers in the Southwest. As an artist and producer, Jerry Dean has recorded and produced CDS since 1997 which have sold over 200,000 copies throughout the southwest. Jerry Dean has performed for thousands of people at places such as "Journal Pavilion", "Greystone Castle", casinos, fiestas, state fairs, and nightclubs in New Mexico and Colorado throughout his solo career. Jerry Dean continues to charm the airwaves and audiences throughout New Mexico and Colorado with his radio friendly hit songs that keep coming and coming. In a family tradition style, with his top selling cds, Jerry Dean's music and performances continue to capture the hearts of fans throughout the southwest!
